Lerato Mbele back on TV

BBC World News just announced that seasoned news anchor, Lerato Mbele, is returning to TV. From the 5th October 2013, Lerato will anchor BBC World News' Africa Business Report. The show is a weekly flagship business programme. It will cover key African business stories and trends and will be broadcast BBC World News.
Lerato will anchor the show from Johannesburg and will cross over to the 48 BBC World News correspondents stationed around Africa.
According to BBC, the programme will report from across Africa on the latest business and technology news. It will showcase the latest trends across the continent, through a mixture of on the ground reports and high profile interviews. Africa Business Report launches on prime-time television across the continent.
It’s great news for Lerato, who is a seasoned TV anchor. She was SABC 3’s News at 10 anchor before she moved to CNBC Africa in 2007. In our interview with her last year (check image below) she said that she was not lost to TV.
Last year, she joined the BBC radio world service and she’s also on Power FM.
