MIPTV Part 3: The TV show panel discussions

Kim Cattrall, Amy Poehler and Curtis '50 Cent'Jackson were some of the high profile celebrities and actors who were present at MIPTV market in Cannes this week. Al three have new shows they either star in or produce. Kim is the star and EP of the BBC adaptation,  for Canada's Movie Central, Sensitive Skin, Amy is the EP of Comedy Central's Broad City and 50 Cent produces Starz new series, Power, which had a worldwide premiere at the festival. Here are their discussions about their TV shows. 

Kim Cattrall- A fireside chat with Kim Cattrall for Sensitive Skin

Kim shared her insights and her experience moving behind the camera to develop, executive produce Sensitive Skin. She told the audience: "I believe that women my age have very much to say, and unfortunately this business doesn’t recognise that, most of the time. I believe that this show, this story, deserves a life.”

Amy Poehler- “The Power of Comedy: Laughing its way from online to linear”

Amy, together with the stars of Broad City, Abby Bryson and Ilana Glazer, and Kent Alterman, the President pf Content Development & Original Programming for Comedy Central; and Caroline Beaton, the SVP for International Programme Sales, Viacom International Media Networks, took the stage to explore the series’ success and the new opportunities created by the web impacting today’s comedy development process for TV.

The series follows James St. Patrick, nicknamed "Ghost", owner of a popular New York City nightclub. In addition, he is a major player in one of the city's biggest illegal drug networks. He struggles to balance these two lives, and the balance topples when he realizes he wants to leave the drug ring in order to support his legitimate business.
