What's Happening?

Season 7 of @StrictlyDanceSA premieres tonight on @SABC3. Here's what you can expect

The promo has been running for a few days and there have been interviews with the contestants on various TV programmes, from Expresso, Sport @ 10, 3Talk and of course the big daddy of SABC shows, Top Billing.

The celebrities are ready and raring to go and we hope none of them disappoint. We are looking forward to a season where the celebrity contestants five it their all and impress. It just makes the show much more interesting and instead of guessing who will win, we are constantly kept at the edge of our seats.

But the big questions is, will  Brandon Eilers  Le Riche finally win the competition? He was robbed in the second season of Strictly Come Dancing when he was dancing with Tamara Dey. They were the best couple that season and it's still a travesty that they didn't get enough votes. He is dancing with Leandie du Randt this season and we hope that she will come to the party.

It's not that we are specifically campaigning for him, but he has been very consistent when it comes to giving great performances on the dance floor.

We still think Khanyi Mbau and Quintus Jansen are the one's to beat and this is based on Khanyi's natural rhythm. Ryan Hammond is the defending champion, so he also has to come to the party with Boity and I think he will.

We can't ignore Mary Martin, who won season 5 with Rob van Vuuren, which was one of the best seasons of Strictly and was unfortunately paired with Lvovo Derrango, who was obviously not so interested in being on the show.

And the hosts? Well, Roxy Burger has been tweeting her excitement about being on the show and we hope this excitement transcends to the live show and impresses with her presenting skills. We have little to worry about with Katlego Maboe, who has been presenting Expresso for four years. He's a pro when it comes to live shows.

We are looking forward to a great season. It's a younger, somewhat popular cast and of course they are hot!

All the best to Rapid Blue and SABC 3.

Tune in to the show at 8pm tonight on SABC 3 and tomorrow night at 7pm
